I loved the direction of the plot. It didn't feel hurried but you get a lot in the first chapter and enough to leave you curious. That's good writing, IMHO. I can see in what general direction you're going with the mystery but I've never read a story in this environment. It's fresh. One thing, I suppose this is a personal preference with the five senses, but I've noticed the Protagonist comments mostly on visual aspects (save for the coffee sampling). Which is usually fine but I remember all the hand grabbing after the dates and in my head I'm screaming "WHAT DO THEIR HANDS EVEN FEEL LIKE" (ex. Elsie's either feels super furry or like peach fuzz, Niko's feels like leather or scaly, idk). Even after the drinking games with the protagonist and loveinterest, I kept wondering how is what's happening bw them possible? Isn't he like half her size? Do they all share similar anatomical structures to humans? Although that's treading on R18 content. Which if you decided to sell as an extra separately, I would happily purchase.
There was a comment about ballet somewhere in there and I remember thinking "But idk what his feet look like".
What else... oh, would you possibly add more hairstyles in the future?

I am confused about your comment on Nikolai's height, maybe it's some impression the writing or art gives that implies he is very small? But actually he is about 5'6"! Which, as he would tell you, is tall for an alkonost. XD

The overall ambience of the game is great - it's so beautiful! And botht the art and music are gorgeous. I'm curious, is the music custom made or just very good choices?
As for the characters, I liked all of the ones I've interacted with, but I'm weak towarts Nikolai. He isn't really "my type", but I really like alkonosts - one of my favorite magical creatures actually. I was amazed to see one in a game honestly - they're not a very well known species. And well, somehow, I've come to like him a lot, even in such a short span. But I bet his route will be tricky - at least to get a good ending. Oh well, I do like challenges!
Also, I wanted to ask three questions, if you don't mind!
- Will you add more characters to the game?
- Are you planning on adding CGs?
- How many chapters per route for the full release?

The music is from an excellent music subscription service called Soundstripe! We'd like to replace it with custom tracks at some point, but they have been an amazing resource and I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs background music. c:

Hi, so far the game is really good. What frustrated me a bit was the limited character customization at the beginning. If there won't be at least a skin customization feature at the beginning, then an idea would be to remove the OC from the picture altogether, like other games. All in all, I love the game so far. I hope more improvements regarding these facts come in the next update ^^

This was so good! The customization options were amazing, and to be rather honest, relieving. Not only that, but I really loved the characters! Their personalities were so unique and charming, and it was super cool to go through all the endings and see everyone's pov on different subjects. the fact u can choose your own pronouns and customize your character already had me sold for the game, its hard to find games that allow non-binary pronouns. so i was literally bursting with happiness when i started playing the game

I went in without knowing anything other than the developer supported Maximum Monster Month! 2 and I ended up kissing Elsie on my first run. Not really into the racism theme, but I liked the characters. I loved Elsie and Deka. Cailean is an interesting character too, but I guess he and Nikolai are a bit overly stereotyped. I really enjoyed the game, it's been a while since I am lost in a visual novel without judging it too harshly.

Well, I need more of this game like I need the air I breathe. I'm going to be singing the design, and character building abilities of you lovely developers and sitting her waiting for the next chapter. The art style and theme is perfect for me, I'm a sucker for mythologies and fantasy, and magical realism. It's all over my art, my stories. Seeing as I just finished obsessing over Deltarune and drawing my favorite characters, I think Cailen is next. Freakin' considerate, shy, potentially dangerous 'sea horse' (clever) with a beautiful design. I'm not going to apologize for falling in love, because you didn't leave me any other option!

I really like the art-each character seems to have their own color scheme (Cailean's is green and blue , Nikolai's is red, Deka's is purplish and Elsie's is also purplish?) But at any rate, they're all very pleasing to look at! Especially I like Elsie's shirt, for some reason. It looks like it's very comfy. I liked how Deka's eyes changed with their mood. It was very clever, and very cute.
If anything I am more curious to what happens next in the story, especially about the necromancer. I wonder if you can date the necromancer though that wouldn't be the best idea XD

As for whether you can date the necromancer... well, that would be spoilers, wouldn't it? ^^
It is the best game I've played but if you want some advice i would say some pictures as in certain parts of the game where each picture of the character your dating is in a spot where they look good for example: a human girl at the beach in her bikini or a human guy working out at the gym, like other visual novels. you should also animate the movements of the whole body when there face changes or they change position and have the animation of the friends and waitresses so we know what they look like as well. one more thing since you don't have it finished try to get more people on your team for example: you can have more people to come up with ideas, people who draw those ideas, people virtually draw those those ideas, people who program them, and etc.
I believe the images you're talking about are CGs? We are planning to put CGs into the game later!! It's just not as high on the priority list as we wrap up getting sprites for the major characters.
Animating movements of the whole body is a nice stretch goal, but it's a LOT of extra work! So while it's something we would ideally like to do also, it's definitely on the "Things we'd like to do if we get a lot of Patreon/KS funding" list, haha. Same for making full sprites for the background characters. c:
As for more people on the team: It's true we are only a two person team right now. But we are comfortable with the team dynamic we have now! We might commission outside sources for assets at some point, such as music, and maybe someday we will want a larger team for our works, But at the moment, this is what works for us.

Thank you for asking!! Since Elsie is a recent addition, her section of the game is a little bit linear right now. To access the other characters in the game, when you're in the classroom and it gives you the option to look at the "rabbit girl" or to look at the "seaweed boy", choose the "seaweed boy". This will set you on the path to meeting everyone else who is currently in the game. Sorry about the confusion!!
I don't see any love for Cailean in the comments so I just wanted to change that! He is sweet and adorable <3 I love ALL the characters but he seemed underrepresented here lol.
Love the game, but it crashes every time I try to save it... I've played earlier versions and didn't have this problem, on a mac each time - I adore Elsie though!
Ah no need to apologise, every game has teething problems! It doesn't give any information - whenever I click on a save slot the game just shuts down. I'm still able to play right through the game though..

the fact u can choose your own pronouns and customize your character already had me sold for the game, its hard to find games that allow non-binary pronouns. so i was literally bursting with happiness when i started playing the game
then i saw the art!!! i was in awe with how beautiful the game is, just i love it so much for those things alone. and the characters and music is absolutely amazing!!
like, the world building and the atmosphere of the game is wonderful, just everything about this game so far is amazing and i look forward to more chapters!

I went in without knowing anything other than the developer supported Maximum Monster Month! 2 and I ended up kissing Elsie on my first run. Not really into the racism theme, but I liked the characters. I loved Elsie and Deka. Cailean is an interesting character too, but I guess he and Nikolai are a bit overly stereotyped. I really enjoyed the game, it's been a while since I am lost in a visual novel without judging it too harshly.

Well, I need more of this game like I need the air I breathe. I'm going to be singing the design, and character building abilities of you lovely developers and sitting her waiting for the next chapter. The art style and theme is perfect for me, I'm a sucker for mythologies and fantasy, and magical realism. It's all over my art, my stories. Seeing as I just finished obsessing over Deltarune and drawing my favorite characters, I think Cailen is next. Freakin' considerate, shy, potentially dangerous 'sea horse' (clever) with a beautiful design. I'm not going to apologize for falling in love, because you didn't leave me any other option!

I really like the art-each character seems to have their own color scheme (Cailean's is green and blue , Nikolai's is red, Deka's is purplish and Elsie's is also purplish?) But at any rate, they're all very pleasing to look at! Especially I like Elsie's shirt, for some reason. It looks like it's very comfy. I liked how Deka's eyes changed with their mood. It was very clever, and very cute.
If anything I am more curious to what happens next in the story, especially about the necromancer. I wonder if you can date the necromancer though that wouldn't be the best idea XD

As for whether you can date the necromancer... well, that would be spoilers, wouldn't it? ^^
It is the best game I've played but if you want some advice i would say some pictures as in certain parts of the game where each picture of the character your dating is in a spot where they look good for example: a human girl at the beach in her bikini or a human guy working out at the gym, like other visual novels. you should also animate the movements of the whole body when there face changes or they change position and have the animation of the friends and waitresses so we know what they look like as well. one more thing since you don't have it finished try to get more people on your team for example: you can have more people to come up with ideas, people who draw those ideas, people virtually draw those those ideas, people who program them, and etc.

I believe the images you're talking about are CGs? We are planning to put CGs into the game later!! It's just not as high on the priority list as we wrap up getting sprites for the major characters.
Animating movements of the whole body is a nice stretch goal, but it's a LOT of extra work! So while it's something we would ideally like to do also, it's definitely on the "Things we'd like to do if we get a lot of Patreon/KS funding" list, haha. Same for making full sprites for the background characters. c:
As for more people on the team: It's true we are only a two person team right now. But we are comfortable with the team dynamic we have now! We might commission outside sources for assets at some point, such as music, and maybe someday we will want a larger team for our works, But at the moment, this is what works for us.

I'm confused, it suggests there is much more content but I can't get past Elsie. A, I doing something wrong?
Thank you for asking!! Since Elsie is a recent addition, her section of the game is a little bit linear right now. To access the other characters in the game, when you're in the classroom and it gives you the option to look at the "rabbit girl" or to look at the "seaweed boy", choose the "seaweed boy". This will set you on the path to meeting everyone else who is currently in the game. Sorry about the confusion!!

Love the game, but it crashes every time I try to save it... I've played earlier versions and didn't have this problem, on a mac each time - I adore Elsie though!

Ah no need to apologise, every game has teething problems! It doesn't give any information - whenever I click on a save slot the game just shuts down. I'm still able to play right through the game though..
